Colleague/Ellucian Portal Constituencies
We implemented a custom solution for deriving the Ellucian portal constituency memberships automatically using the Ellucian audience and LDAP group processes. You can now build your student constituency from the combination of multiple audiences on the Colleague Portal – UnderGrads, Graduate Students, Applicants, students by academic level, students by academic program. However you need to slice and dice your student population for audience targeting, we can use those same audience definitions to populate your portal constituencies automatically.
You can do the same for your staff constituency – split them by full-time and part time and student workers, staff by school or by department.
Multiple Faculty audiences can be combined to make up your Faculty constituency.
We can create Entrinsik Informer reports to show you the selection statements being made and the memberships of each constituency.
